Join David Suzuki and Stand With the Dene Alliance

I have long been an opponent of the the Northern Gateway Pipeline, which could have devastating effects on the BC coast in case of a tanker spill and will further contribute to the environmental destruction here in Alberta.

The pipeline Keystone Pipelinehas just come closer to being approved, by a recommendation from the environmental review panel, which concluded that it will have a great negative impact on bears, woodland caribou and whales, but is still “of benefit to Canadians”.  If you wonder where the pipeline and the tankers will go, search “Great Bear Rainforest“.

This message is as important to those of us living in Canada, as it is to our friends abroad, as this decision will have a global impact.
