Jenner: No to ‘Biological Boys Who Are Trans’ Playing on Girls’ Teams

Transgender former reality star and aspiring politician Caitlyn Jenner has come out on the side of transphobes.

Jenner, shopping in Malibu, Calif., on Saturday, was questioned by a TMZ reporter about the spate of state bans on transgender girls and women playing on sports’ teams. Harnessing fear and ignorance of trans people — and the false assumption trans females have an inherent physical advantage over cisgender females — Republicans have tried to make this non-issue a rallying cry for their base.

Jenner, running as a Republican to replace Gavin Newsom as California governor should he be recalled by voters, parroted that cynical malice to TMZ. Jenner even denied the dignity of trans female athletes by referring to them as “biological boys” and stated that cis girls need to be protected from the trans menace.

“This is a question of fairness, that’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair and we have to protect girls’ sports,” Jenner said to the paparazzo, before stepping into her luxury vehicle.

Jenner has previously claimed to be financially conservative, but socially liberal. Though she once embraced Donald Trump, she disavowed him, but only after intense blowback from the LGBTQ+ community.

Her trans peers, including writer Jen Richards, Jenner’s former co-star on the reality show, I Am Cait, were quick to blast the odious comments. Richards, on Twitter, questioned Jenner’s intelligence before deleting her tweets.

Meanwhile, activist Charlotte Clymer worked to correct Jenner’s misinformation.
