Clea DuVall’s Happiest Season Cast Pose Together for Joyful Pride Pic

The holidays can’t come soon enough with Clea DuVall’s queer-themed holiday rom-com dropping in theaters in November. While there were plenty of cast updates about Happiest Season, which stars Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate, Halt and Catch Fire) as a couple, there haven’t been any photos of the outstanding ensemble assembled in one place — until now.
Happiest Season’s official Instagram page posted a picture of the team that includes DuVall, Stewart, Davis, Dan Levy, Victor Garber, Mary Steenburgen, Aubrey Plaza, and Mary Holland celebrating Pride.

On her personal Instagram, DuVall gave a shout-out to Plaza’s birthday.
The film from TriStar Pictures tells the story of Stewart’s character, who plans a surprise marriage proposal to her girlfriend (Davis) while they’re home for the holidays, only to discover that her girlfriend is not out to her conservative family.
DuVall, a favorite since she starred as a baby lesbian in 1999’s conversion therapy satire But I’m a Cheerleader, directs the film from a script she penned with her writing partner Holland. Happiest Season marks DuVall’s second foray into directing a comedy feature, the first being 2016’s The Intervention, a modern take on The Big Chill that starred DuVall, Melanie Lynskey, Natasha Lyonne, Cobie Smulders, Alia Shawkat, and Jason Ritter.
