Ben Platt and Boyfriend Noah Galvin Are Engaged

Out actor and singer Ben Platt is engaged to his boyfriend Good Doctor actor Noah Galvin.
Platt, 29, made the announcement on Instagram on Friday.
“He agreed to hang out forever,” the Dear Evan Hansen and Pitch Perfect star said.
Galvin, 28, also shared the news: “I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours.”
Both Platt and Galvin have played the lead in the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen. In fact, Galvin took over when Platt stepped down from playing the titular role in the musical.
While at first friends, eventually, they started dating.
Platt told The Advocate’s sibling publication, Out, last year that he had found “a partner that I really love,” describing Galvin as having, “a really unique ability to help me to … be present where I am and to make the life that’s happening day to day too wonderful to not want to be on the ground for it.”
“We were friends for five years and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot. We kind of skated around it for a long time,” Platt previously told Kelly Clarkson, according to People.
