I've been collecting photos of guys with tattoos for quite a while (and yeah, I know that's not unique - there are a lot of guys out there who enjoy collecting them). p.s. Just 'cause there pic is on here doesn't mean the person is gay - just means that I liked their tattoo!

These are sort of inspirations for me to think about getting more work done, and about ways I could achieve what I'm visualizing.

If you're on this page, that means I happened upon your pic (actually that just happened!) while surfing the net. If you'd rather it was removed, just say so and it will be gone. (though if you're on here, it's probably because you're a hottie as well).

Tattoo Ideas

Well, I've finally done it! Decided to get started, so here's my first ink!

"Freedom" (click for larger)

I have always been drawn toward Japanese and Chinese characters and culture. Also my heritage is
Irish/Scottish (yeah, really) so my end-result tattoo will involve some kind of combination of those. I've been making up some designs, but to get started you have to get started, right?

Anyway, I felt that I should take the first step. So, I went to DragonFX and got the first part done.

All this time I've created the "sewing machine on your skin" picture in my head, from listening to other
people's comments, and with my overly fertile imagination. I found it just "irritating" rather than painful.
Mostly spent time talking with the artist.

Now that I know what to expect, there will definitely be more coming!

At any rate, I am always looking for inspiration, so if you have any ideas of what might be a hot tattoo idea, feel free to let me know your idea. Or, if you have a pic, send it my way.

More Bodywork - Celtic

(aside from WOOF!) I've always been interested in Celtic stuff. Particularly armbands, and/or the Celtic cross. Though I tend to favor the one with all short arms.

Chest - Dragons

I think that I might like something on the chest. How does it work, when your chest is pretty hairy, like mine is? (2nd pic, is just 'cause he's cute).

Shoulders - Knot work / Tribal

Something is interesting about shoulder work. I kind of like Celtic stuff, and some Tribal type designs. What do you think?

Arm Bands - Celtic, or Tribal?

I think arm bands are pretty hot. Apparently it hurts a lot under the arm.

Arm - Custom

This is a design I ran across on the web. Kinda like it for the arm, or calf.

Bodywork - Asian

Very striking and colourful. I have always thought that the "full body" work on some photos of Yakuza are interesting.

More Bodywork - Asian

Very extensive - probably not for "beginners" : ) Interesting for ideas, though.

Celtic - Variation on a trefoil

Something about Celtic is definitely drawing me to include some in my work.
